Meet Charlotte, an elevated folk chic statement bodice that bridges traditional Alpine heritage tailoring with wearable romantic silhouette. Charlotte takes inspiration from classic Austrian/Bavarian Trachten stays featuring a structured center front placket a graceful sweetheart bust line and romantic gathered puff sleeves with delicate elasticated cuffs. Designed pattern drafted and meticulously hand sewn by me.
Charlotte is built from the inside out with pure artisan techniques, The structured shell is made of cotton linen blend and its fully reinforced with premium woven cotton interfacing and lined in crisp breathable 100% cotton poplin. She is finished with exquisite matching bias bound hem and anchored down the front with hand selected salvaged vintage metal heart buttons.
Because of the vintage hardware and limited nature of my work, this exact blouse is a 1-of 1 original and will not be remade in this fabric combination again.
